Above & Bijan
One Spot Remains
With one week remaining in the regular season, only one wildcard spot remains.
The path forward is obvious for Trust the Process. A win this week and they're in. A triumphant accomplishment for the first year manager that inherited a team in shambles and then struggled through injuries all season.
But NOT SO FAST here, The Chiseled Vics have a legitimate shot at the playoffs. Trust the Process faces a tough matchup this week and The Chiseled Vics have never lost a Week 14 matchup. Additionally, The Chiseled Vics hold the tiebreaker over Trust the Process, meaning a win and TtP loss pushes them into sixth place. Name being worked will try to play spoiler, but either way this projects to be an exciting end to the season.
Welcome to the Semifinals
Name being worked on sits comfortably in the semifinals while the other first round bye continues to be contested. Team CEMagana is in control and could lock it up with a win this week, but Above & Bijan and Team JoHo2 remain in contention. There's too many scenarios to list out, so we'll just have to see how things shape up at the end of the week.
Vic's Secret acquires D. Henry, RB BAL from Team JoHo2 for D. Swift, RB CHI and B. Robinson, RB WAS (October 24th)
Above & Bijan acquires D. Moore, WR CHI and T. Benson, RB ARI from Trust the Process for C. Kirk, WR JAX, T. McLaurin, WR WAS, and J. Mason, RB SF (September 14th)
2Nut, Team Balls acquires Z. Flowers, WR BAL from CEMagana for R. Stevenson, RB NE (September 6th)
The trade deadline has passed.
An opportunity to celebrate the highs and lows of teams that missed the playoffs this season.
Team dannykeay (Eliminated Week 12) Another one of the league's historically dominate managers, Team dannykeay fell short this year, despite picking up two wins over rival CeeDreePeat. On a positive note, Dannykeay maintains a win percentage above .500 all-time. But unfortunately, there aren't too many other highlights to note, but Team dannykeay does have an opportunity to share their misery by knocking Trust the Process out this week.
CeeDreePeat (Eliminated Week 13) The back to back champion faltered this year but managed to stay competitive through the second to last week of the year. An ambitious name choice, CeeDreePeat fell short of their goals and lost their all-time leading winning status (26 wins, 57.7%) along the way, ceding first to Above & Bijan and Vic's Secret (27 wins, 58.7%). On the bright side, CeeDree did manage to pick up back to back wins at one point in the season and does have a solid group of keepers to that may jumpstart their rebuild.
Garbage (Eliminated Week 13) An appropriate name change after a sizeable Week 13 loss. Things weren't all bad for Garbage who started the season 4-4. But injuries and frustration mounted leading to six straight losses to finish out the season. Looking back, Digg's injury seemed to be the turning point of their season as it sent Garbage into a spiral leading to mounting frustrations that ultimately resulted in Garbage giving up Mahomes for nothing in a fit of rage. Garbage is a bit short on keepers, which might be a blessing in disguise, and give Garbage the opportunity to start fresh in 2025-26.
